Our client is a strategic business within an international logistics organisation. The new business grew out of a joint venture and the workforce and management team were drawn from the two original organisations. A Managing Director was appointed externally.
We worked with the MD to help his Executive Team form quickly to get the new business off to a flying start. This top team identified that they would need to function as a Real Team in order to give the organisation the leadership it needed. We helped them to lay the foundations of this teamwork quickly and to develop it progressively thereafter. Under their stewardship the business has exceeded all expectations in its early years.
The SBU?s Managing Director has now been appointed to a more senior position within his group. An internal successor has been appointed and we continue to work with the team as they develop their strategy for the next phase of the business? evolution.
